Due to holidays and course planning, my Current List is coming out a few days later than the past few months. I have failed my site.
But anyway, here are some cool things I had happen over the past month.
The wonderful Brandon Stanwyck reviewed my book for Cleaver Magazine (did this review get me teary eyed? I’ll never tell!). You can read the review here!
My story, “Like the Desert Dark,” which was published by Gamut Magazine was nominated by them for a Pushcart.
The journal I started with my loves Hannah Cohen and Teo Mungaray was interviewed by Luna Luna Magazine (and we’re open to submissions, by the by). You can read the interview here!
My poem “In Gratitude” is in the latest issue of Half Mystic Press, which can be purchased here!
My short story, “Waves Like Constellations,” is over in the debut issue of awesome new journal Longleaf Review. Read it here!
I have a poem, “There is No Matter in It,” in the amazing Oxidant|Engine. Read it here!
And another poem, “That Makes Sense and is the Best Way to Observe the Virtues of His Image,” in Calamus. It can be read here!
The amazing Yes Poetry put together a free chapbook of all their poets of the month from 2017. I have a piece in it (and who doesn’t love free chapbooks??). Check it out here!
And, finally, I was so delighted over summer to work on this collaborative piece with Livien Yin for 7X7. You can find it here!
